Summer 2018’s Theme is Oh The Places You’ll Go!

June 11-15-Native America

Learn about the vast culture of Native America as we begin our exploration though an archeological dig, pottery making, and interviews with the Petroglyph Park Rangers. This week we will discover how our stewardship of the earth can change the world!

June 18-22-South Pacific

This week will feature volcanoes, sand castles, a treasure hunt, and seashell art! Friendship will also be a focus during our exploration into the South Pacific.

June 25-29-The Orient

Experience The Orient through kites, tangrams, puppetry, dragons, and origami. Campers will learn how to believe in themselves and their individual power through this week’s devotional.

July 9-13-Antartica

Discover the culture of Antarctica through orienteering, tent & fire building, and explorer journals. This week we will try to reach a deeper understanding of how to use our talents and gifts to help improve the world around us.

July 16-20-South America

Activities this week will include creating a civilization, Mayan math, and leather tooling as we make our way through South America. The lesson of caring for others will guide us in our growth throughout the week.

July 23-27-Australia

Uncover Australia by learning about the rainforest ecosystem, growing coral, and doing nature crafts. Collaborate with your fellow campers as we learn about building character and being a positive influence.

After-care children will have a choice of indoor or outdoor activities after the regular camp-day ends including sports, crafts, board games, and reading/rest.

After-care is available from 4:00-5:30 pm for an additional fee of $8 per day per child if paid for in advance.  If you have not paid in advance or your child is not picked up by 4:15, you will be charged $15 per day. After-care children are expected to be picked-up by 5:30 in order to avoid an additional fee of $15.

After-care can be added at any time by contacting the Camp Coordinator 505-238-8193.
